Fred Black has been in the landscape construction business since 1976, and established his current business, Bluewater Landscape in 1986 in Fair Oaks, CA. Prior to establishing Bluewater Landscape, he acquired his expert experience in landscape and design while running several landscape construction companies in southern California.  He received his landscape training at Western Landscape Construction in Santa Ana, California, while attending college, pursing a degree in Architecture. Valley Crest Trees & Environmental Industries owned Western Landscape Construction and at the time was one of the largest landscape construction companies in California.

Bluewater Landscape's philosophy is to integrate plant materials and landscapes to match the needs and style of the home—as well as studying nature and seeing how to use it to create a natural environment.
